Dried elderflowers – handpicked & aromatic
Our dried elderflowers are hand-harvested at peak bloom in early summer. We carefully pick only half of the blossoms, allowing the rest to develop into black elderberries for the autumn harvest.
These fragrant flowers are ideal for: - - herbal teas & infusions;
- natural wellness products;
- botanical extracts & syrups.

Elderberry juice concentrate – maximum nutrients & deep color
We harvest our black elderberries by hand at peak ripeness in autumn. The berries are immediately crushed and pressed to extract a rich, nutrient-dense juice concentrate.
This premium ingredient is perfect for:
- health supplements & immunity boosters;
- beverages & functional drinks;
- natural food colorings & flavor enhancers.

Elderberry pomace – sustainable byproduct for various industries
After pressing the juice, the remaining elderberry pomace is dried and repurposed as a natural fruit fiber ingredient.
This eco-friendly byproduct is widely used in:
- beverage production;
- cosmetics & skincare formulas;
- functional food applications.
Sunny Coast Joiners SIA, a Latvian company involved in the industrial production of black elderberry. Elderflower (Sambucus nigra) is mainly marketed to medicinal and cosmetic manufacturers, beverage producers, the brewing industry, culinary producers and even the industrial dye industry.
We grow wild black elderberry in our farm fields, with planting material sourced from Latvian forests. This wild elderberry is virtually disease-free and pest-free and does not require pest and disease control.
For this reason, we can say with certainty that this plant is organic and pesticide-free. This wild variety, on the other hand, is slightly stronger in flavour than the modern varieties of black elder, which are cultivated industrially or grown in the home garden.
We sell black elderberry in bulk and our priority is to fulfil long-term contracts on time, so we encourage potential buyers to enquire early about our ability to supply the volume they need.
Black elderberry has been valued for its medicinal properties for over 2,400 years. As early as 400 BC, Hippocrates, the "father of medicine," referred to black elderberry (Sambucus nigra) as the "great medicine chest" due to its powerful health benefits. Today, elderberry is widely recognized for its immune-boosting properties, antioxidant content, and role in natural wellness.
J. K. In Rowling's fantasy novel "Harry Potter", the wizarding world's most powerful wand was made from elderberry.
